Gloria Marchand
Gloria Marchand is an Advanced Practical Nurse Practitioner, board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed through the Louisiana State Board of Nursing . She joined Calais Dermatology Associates in May 2020. Gloria graduated from Louisiana State University in December 1999. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in December 2014. There she was inducted into the Epsilon Nu chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. Gloria continued on to earn her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner at the University of South Alabama in December 2017.
Gloria’s medical experience as a registered nurse includes eight years in Rehabilitation and Post Anesthesia Care at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. After obtaining her Advanced Practical Nurse Practitioner license, she worked in an urgent care setting providing urgent and non-urgent health care to the Baton Rouge area and surrounding communities. This extensive experience gives her a strong and caring understanding of her patients in helping them to reach their skin care goals.
As a native of Plaquemine, LA, Gloria currently resides in Baton Rouge, LA with her husband and their three children. Her hobbies include reading, fitness, and enjoying outdoor activities with her family.
